Bellmoor Inn & Spa Policies

Reservation Policies

  • Check In Time is 3:00pm and Check Out Time is 11:00am.
  • Room Rates: Rates are for Double Occupancy, additional persons over the age of 6 result in an additional $25.00 per night charge.
  • Maximum Room Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for rooms at The Bellmoor Inn and Spa is 4 adults per room . 
  • Deposit Policy: One half of your total stay is required as a deposit to secure your reservation. If the reservation is for one night a full deposit of your stay will be required.
  • Cancellation Policy: We have a 7 day cancellation policy. If you cancel with less than 7 day's notice, you forfeit your entire deposit. If you cancel 7 or more days before your arrival date, there is a $25.00 cancellation fee and the balance is refunded.
  • *Cancellation Policy For The Bell House, Garden's Cottage, Family Suite, & Deluxe One Bedroom Rooms: We have a 14 day cancellation policy for these select room types. If you cancel or change your reservation with less than 14 day's notice, you forfeit your entire deposit. If you cancel 14 or more days before your arrival date, there is a $25.00 cancellation fee and the balance is refunded.
  • Our website and booking engine may contain technical inaccuracies and typographical errors, including but not limited to inaccuracies relating to pricing or availability applicable to your transaction. The Bellmoor does not assume responsibility or liability for any such inaccuracies, errors or omissions. We reserve the right to make changes, corrections, and/or improvements to our website and booking engine, and to the products and programs described in such information, at any time without notice, including after confirmation of a transaction.
  • Sorry we do not allow pets.
  • We are a smoke free property.  There will be a $250 per day charge if smoking is detected in your room.

Fees & Taxes

  • Accommodation Tax: The State of Delaware charges an 8% Accommodation Tax on all reservations. The City of Rehoboth has a 3% Municipality Tax on all reservations.
  • Resort Fee In order to maintain the quality of services and standards our guests expect from the Bellmoor Inn & Spa, we charge a 15% Resort Fee. The Resort Fee does not include gratuities guests may wish to share with staff during their stay.
  • Destination Fee: Our Destination Fee (1.0%) is collected to help support hotel programming, activities, events, sustainability efforts, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Community Impact Fee: The Bellmoor Inn & Spa is on a mission to promote mental health in Delaware by advocating for compassionate treatment, respect, and support of those experiencing mental health challenges. This includes charitable support to organizations working to address our community's mental health needs. Beginning October 1, guests wiill see a 1% fee added to their reservations called an Impact Fee. This fee is being collected to fund donations to organizations that align with the hotel's Community Impact mission and goals. 
  • Parking Fee: Valid from  May 15- September 15, The Bellmoor Inn charges a parking fee of $12.00 per day for each vehicle. The Bellmoor has a one vehicle per room policy.

When you make a reservation, our system registers through which means and from which websites you have made your reservation.   • Reservations: We use your personal information to complete and manage your online reservation.
  • Customer Service: We use your personal information to provide customer service.
  • Guest Reviews: We may use your contact information to invite you by email to write a guest review after your stay. This can help other travelers to select the accommodations that fit them best.
  • Marketing Activities: We also use your information for marketing activities, as permitted by law.
  • Other communications: There may be other times when we get in touch by email, mail, phone or by texting you, depending on the contact information you share with us. There could be a number of reasons for this:
    • We may need to respond to and handle requests you have made.
    • If you have not finalized a reservation online, we may email you a reminder to continue with your reservation. We believe that this additional service is useful to you because it allows you to carry on with a reservation without having to search for the accommodations again or fill in all the reservation details from scratch.
    • When you use our services, we may send you a questionnaire or invite you to provide a review of your experience with our website.
  • Legal Purposes: In certain cases, we may need to use your information to handle and resolve legal disputes, for regulatory investigations and compliance.

  • BookingSuite: Your personal information may be shared with BookingSuite B.V. located at Herengracht 597, 1017 CE Amsterdam, the Netherlands (, the company which operates this website. BookingSuite will provide your personal information to for the purposes described above.
  • Third-party Service Providers: We may use service providers to process your personal information strictly on our behalf. This processing would be for purposes such as facilitating reservation payments, sending out marketing material or for analytical support services. These processors are bound by confidentiality clauses and are not allowed to use your personal data for their own purposes or any other purpose.
  • Competent Authorities: We disclose personal information to law enforcement and other governmental authorities insofar as it is required by law or is strictly necessary for the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal acts and fraud.

We will retain your personal information for as long as we deem it necessary to provide services to you, comply with applicable laws (including those regarding document retention), resolve disputes with any parties and otherwise as necessary to allow us to conduct our business.
