Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk

This popular Boardwalk located in Delaware, stretches over one-mile out down Rehoboth Beach. Here you will find The Bellmoor Inn, delicious eateries, arcades, amusement parks, water rides, and retail shops and more. Walk out onto the beach or stroll down over to Funland for a family fun day, check out the bandstand pavilion with free concerts and dozens of weekend festivals. Make sure you stop in for a slice of pizza or just park yourself on the boardwalk for amazing people watching.

The beach is closed between the hours of 1 am and 5 am, no people allowed in during those times.

Parking

There are plenty of metered parking spots at Rehoboth Beach. Parking meters are in effect from Memorial Day weekend until just passed Labor Day, between the hours of 10 am until 12 am midnight. All thirty-minute parking meter zones are in effect for the entire year. Change machines are available, however credit cards are no longer accepted at any parking meter. Meter rates are $1.50 per hour. Parking passes can be bought through the city zone.

Hours / Beach hours

The beach is closed daily from 1 am to 5 am. Bikes are allowed on the boardwalk during the hours of 5 am to 10 am from May 15th through September 15th. Beach wheels are available 9 am to 5 pm daily through Labor Day.

What is there to do at the boardwalk?


There is so much to do along the boardwalk including, shopping, eating, drinking, and Funland, which is a family amusement center open every summer! It offers great entertainment for the whole family, featuring 18 rides, 13 midway games, redemption center for prizes, and an arcade with video games and pinball machines.

What are the best places to eat on the boardwalk?


Yummy treats and great food can be found along the boardwalk. Grotto Pizza and Nick's Sandwiches are great for delicious bites that are quick, or for a sit-down along the waterfront, Victoria's Restaurant and Obie's by the Sea are popular hot spots.
